Beginning her career in private narcotics detection at just 16 weeks of age, Falcon has demonstrated a natural aptitude for detection work. She is currently preparing to take her ASCTI Certification test in April 2025, a testament to her advanced skill set and disciplined training.
In addition to her work in narcotics detection,
Falcon is developing foundational skills in Human Remains Detection (HRD) For Shoreline Roadside & Vehicle, providing critical support to families seeking closure. Her weekly training sessions with other K9 teams reflect her commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement in her field.

Meet K9 Xena
K9 Xena is a remarkable young Belgian Malinois with a natural drive to help others. Under her collar, Xena proudly holds multiple obedience training certifications, including the prestigious AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title. Her impressive skills and dedication have also earned her the status of
ASCTI Certified Fire Therapy K9, providing comfort and support to those affected by fire-related incidents and going to wildfires.
But Xena’s journey doesn’t stop there.
She is currently working hard to become ASCTI Certified Accelerant Detection K9. With her keen nose and unwavering focus, Xena is being trained to detect the presence of accelerants at fire scenes, an essential skill for fire investigations.
Once certified, Xena and her handler will be available to assist any fire department in Mohave County, bringing her expertise and dedication to the community. Whether offering comfort as a therapy dog or aiding investigations with her sharp scent detection, K9 Xena is always ready to serve.
Welcome to K9 Gibbs's profile, showcasing his exceptional skills in Human Remains Detection (HRD).
Gibbs, a two-year-old Belgian Malinois, has undergone seven months of rigorous training in HRD, with a primary focus on Boat Recovery along the shoreline.
In our county, there is currently a gap in Certified Boat Recovery HRD Teams, making Gibbs a valuable asset in filling this critical need.
With a passion for riding in boats, Gibbs's keen sense of smell leads him effortlessly to scents in the water, including those of individuals who have tragically drowned.
He eagerly participates in weekly training sessions with other teams, honing his abilities and ensuring readiness for any deployment.

K9 Lucy and Her Handler
Meet K9 Lucy, a young and dedicated Basset Hound currently training as a Trailing K9. With a natural enthusiasm for the work, Lucy eagerly engages in the "Hide and Seek" game, where she hones her skills in locating decoys and is rewarded with plenty of treats and play.
Her handler brings a wealth of experience, having served as a valued member of a certified Search and Rescue (SAR) unit and deployed on numerous missions.
Together, they are preparing to take the ASCTI SAR certification and Trainer certification exams in April 2025, showcasing their commitment to excellence in trailing and SAR operations.

Meet K9 Gracie, a 6-year-old West German Shepherd with a lineage rooted in strong working lines. Gracie thrives on the thrill of the job, driven by her natural desire to work and please her handler.
Her specialty is Narcotics Detection, a field where her focus and determination truly shine. She is preparing to test for her Private Sector Narcotic Detection Certifications in April 2025.
When Gracie isn’t hard at work or training, she reveals her playful side, transforming into a lovable clown who enjoys every moment of downtime. Whether it’s lounging on the couch or playing with her Border Collie brother,
Gracie knows how to balance dedication with relaxation. She embodies the perfect mix of professionalism and charm, making her not just a remarkable working dog but also a cherished family member.
Introducing K9 Milli, a promising young Doberman under a year old, with a passion for tracking and locating individuals.
With a keen instinct and a dedication to training, she excels in both ground and air scent tracking techniques.
Accompanied by her handler, K9 Milli proudly graduated from our comprehensive Intro to Search and Rescue (SAR) Tracking Class.
Throughout the year, they will diligently hone their skills, preparing to undertake the rigorous ASCTI Live Tracking Certification examination in April 2025.
K9 Milli thrives in the collaborative environment, enjoying training sessions alongside fellow K9 teams, as they collectively strive for excellence in search and rescue operations.
