19 Years in training, K9 Paws Behavior Dog Training stands out for its tailored approach to canine behavior, rooted in evidence-based techniques and positive reinforcement methodologies.
Our team of certified trainers possesses extensive experience and a deep understanding of dog psychology, enabling us to address a wide range of behavioral issues effectively.
Additionally, we prioritize ongoing education and stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field to ensure the highest standards of training excellence.
Our commitment to personalized attention and compassionate care sets us apart, fostering strong bonds between owners and their beloved pets while achieving sustainable behavior change.
. Our K9 classes are held outdoors to provide an optimal learning environment for both dogs and their owners.
Outdoor settings offer ample space for dogs to explore, engage in activities, and practice training exercises with distractions present, which helps reinforce obedience commands and behavioral skills in real-life situations.
Additionally, outdoor environments allow for natural stimuli, such as different surfaces, scents, and sounds, which contribute to a well-rounded and enriching learning experience for our furry companions.
Boarding Policy:
We regret to inform you that we do not provide boarding services. However, we understand the importance of finding reliable care for your beloved pet. We encourage pet owners to explore alternatives such as consulting their local veterinarian or engaging a certified in-home pet sitter.
When considering boarding options, it is crucial to conduct thorough research and inspections. Here are some key questions to ask:
Pet CPR Certification: Inquire about the staff's certification in pet CPR. We recommend verifying the certification in person to ensure the highest standard of care.
Accommodation Details: Seek clarity on the accommodation arrangements for your pet. If your pet will be housed in a crate or kennel, request to inspect the facilities to ensure they are safe and well-maintained.
Presence of Other Animals: If other animals are present in the boarding facility, request to review their vaccination records. Additionally, assess the temperament of these animals to ensure a safe environment for your pet. You may consider contacting local animal control for any relevant reports.
At K9 Paws Behavior Dog Training, we prioritize the well-being and safety of your furry companions. While we do not offer boarding services, we are committed to guiding pet owners in making informed decisions regarding their pets' care.

When it comes to training classes, incorporating training treats and toy rewards can be highly effective.
Training treats serve as immediate positive reinforcement, encouraging desired behaviors during training sessions.
Similarly, toy rewards provide an interactive and engaging incentive for your pet. However, it's crucial to choose treats and toys that align with your pet's preferences and dietary needs.
Additionally, moderation is key to prevent overindulgence and maintain focus during training sessions.
Ultimately, incorporating both training treats and toy rewards can enhance the learning experience for both you and your pet, making training classes more enjoyable and effective.

Marsha is the best trainer we have ever had. She is great with the dogs and the dogs like her. Our KoKo loves her when we go train, she loves to be working. Marsha has years of experience, knowledge and always wanting to learn more to leach her dogs. She gives her undivided attention.

Marsha & Randy are amazingly knowledgeable when it comes to dogs. When we showed up for the first day of class with our two shepherds they were quite wild compared to some of the other breeds that were there. After just the first class we could see an immediate difference in the demeanor of our dogs. Now that we are near the end of the puppy obedience course, we are so proud of them. We have no fears taking them out in public anymore, and they do very well with commands. we 100% recommend K9 Paws Behavior Dog Training, to anyone we know. We can't wait to start the next course for our dogs!!
